Brand & Business Development Manager
for Skin Formulas

Skin Formulas is an innovative skincare brand that is rapidly becoming the go-to for consumers and professionals alike, with a range of innovative products that deliver transformative results. Developed by skin expert and multi-award-winning entrepreneur, Geraldine Jones, Skin Formulas is also proud to be Leaping Bunny certified, vegan, paraben and sulfate-free.

We have a concise range of 13 retail products as well as an array of gift sets. We also have a professional range consisting of lactic acid chemical peel. Our products have been featured on Ireland AM, The Today Show, and have won awards from Social & Personal and HiStyle.

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Brand & Business Development Manager to join the Skin Formulas team. With multiple products in development, we are looking for someone to lead up the new product development strategy and liaise with all of our supplier partners.

The Brand and Business Development Manager will focus on new product development and business development for our product portfolio. 

What does the role entail?

The candidate will leverage our marketing, digital and PR agencies to build brand awareness and drive online sales for our product portfolio. 

Responsibilities include; 

  • Devising and implementing new business and go-to-market strategies for new products, seasonal gifts, promotional events and campaigns
  • Designing and executing marketing and PR campaigns alongside current providers
  • Liaising with third-party agencies and suppliers
  • Reporting
  • Overseeing and managing packaging design and production

The candidate will also play an important role in growing our partner (stockists) network and work closely with the founder to achieve clearly defined targets. 

Responsibilities include; 

  • Prospecting for new stockists 
  • Managing the partner onboarding 
  • Building and delivering an engagement plan to support current stockists 
  • Driving innovations to support our partner networks for long-term mutual success 

Additional responsibilities include overseeing B2C & B2B customer service, assisting the founder on various projects, stock management, and financial planning.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively via video call, phone and email
  • Excited about hitting and exceeding goals
  • Motivated and have a desire to learn and improve

Preferred skills and experience:

  • A passion for skincare and the beauty sector
  • Experience in product development and manufacturing is an advantage
  • Excellent business development/sales and brand management knowledge
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and accounting software is preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
