Job Description
This is a new and key role within the company to manage and drive the development of new products for skin and body care. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be motivated to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with senior management and other stakeholders, ensuring strategically important tasks are delivered on time, to specification, to product cost and within planned budgets.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the development of new product development projects, from concept phase through to design and commercialisation in multiple markets.
- Contribute to defining the company’s new product pipeline based on business strategy.
- Lead on all project management activities (scope, schedule, communications, finance, risk, procurement and stakeholder management).
- Work closely with manufacturer, ingredients supplier, packaging suppliers and external vendors to manage project timelines and oversee project milestones.
- Manage packaging development, innovation, sustainability initiatives and quality standards for new products while hitting cost targets and timeline deliverables.
- Working with international suppliers and cross-functional teams in the EU, UK and Asia to execute project from raising of PO right through to delivery of goods to warehouse.
- Scheduling production, manufacturing and delivery of established product lines and NPD projects going forward.
- Review the NPD process to ensure practices are fully compliant with procedure. Product & packaging comply with specification. Identify any deviations and communicate to senior management. Identification of areas for continuous improvement is also crucial to this role.
The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University (UU) and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2:2 Degree in a bioscience or closely related discipline.
- Strong track record of project delivery.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the Republic of Ireland at time of application; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Republic of Ireland you must upload a copy of it with your application.
Desirable Criteria
- Substantial knowledge of high-end cosmeceutical skincare and body care products. Familiarity with NPD in relation to cosmeceuticals would be a distinct advantage in application for this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient using MS Office applications.
